Dandy City celebrated a much-needed triumph as they returned to the winners’ list with a 1-0 win against Brunswick City. The victory came after a narrow loss suffered just a week earlier against Eastern Lions. The match showcased the team’s determination and skill, cementing them into the top half of the ladder, with a mere four points separating them from the top five teams.

The only goal of the game arrived early, in the second minute of play, courtesy of Jack Webster. Webster’s goal delighted the travelling supporters. Despite both teams displaying exciting end-to-end football, no further goals were scored, leaving the scoreboard unchanged.

Dandy City’s win not only boosted their confidence but also solidified their position in the ladder. To remain in contention for promotion, they will need to maintain this momentum and continue delivering strong performances. Their next challenge awaits them this Friday night at home, where they will host Pascoe Vale FC. This match holds extra significance for Dandy City as they aim to avenge their loss to Pascoe Vale FC in round 2. Kick-off for this highly anticipated game at Frank Holohan Reserve is set for 19:45.
