‘Easter Culinary Workshop’ Announced

Numerous activities have characterised the long-standing work of this association – from organised workshops, cooking courses, language learning programmes, providing help and support for charitable initiatives… to publishing the bilingual cookbook ‘My Mother’s Kitchen’ (Kuhinja moje majke) which serves as a powerful document preserving culinary cultural traditions.
This year, the Croatian Cultural Association (CCA), established in 2004, has marked 20 years of its activities in Geelong.
Another culinary workshop has been announced for 10th April 2025 focused on Easter traditions: it will be an opportunity to learn more about decorated Easter eggs; there will be preparation of ‘štrudle’ (traditional Easter pastries) as well as advice on Easter table decorations along with other children’s activities.
The workshop will take place in the hall of the Croatian Community Centre Geelong starting at 7:00pm (Cnr Cox Road & Matthews Road, Corio – main entrance).
