Fabrizio Romano: Igor Tudor to be confirmed as Juventus boss

Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Igor Tudor is expected to be officially confirmed as Juventus manager on Friday.

Tudor, who took over managerial duties in March 2025 following the dismissal of Thiago Motta, has led the team to a fourth-place finish in Serie A, securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League.

Romano’s update aligns with recent statements from Juventus’ new general manager, Damien Comolli, who affirmed the club’s intention to retain Tudor for the upcoming season.

Comolli praised Tudor’s impact since his appointment, noting the team’s improved performances and discipline under his leadership.

Tudor’s tenure has been marked by a tactical shift and a focus on revitalising the squad’s competitive edge.

His previous experience, including managerial roles at Marseille and Lazio, has contributed to his effective transition into the head coach position at Juventus.

Tudor won 55 caps for the Croatian national team between 1997 and 2006.

The anticipated confirmation of Tudor’s role comes as Juventus prepares for the upcoming Club World Cup, set to commence on June 14.

Securing the managerial position ahead of the tournament is seen as a strategic move to ensure stability and continuity within the team.

Romano’s report has been met with optimism among Juventus supporters, who view Tudor’s continued leadership as a positive step towards reclaiming domestic and European success.

The official announcement on Friday is expected to outline the terms of Tudor’s contract and the club’s vision for the future under his guidance.
