The Rimac Nevera R has officially set a new acceleration record, confirming its status as the world’s fastest electric hypercar, with a verified top speed unmatched in its class.
According to an article on the online motoring portal supercarblondie.com, Rimac’s Nevera R completed a recent 0–400–0 km/h test run in an incredible 25.79 seconds, in the process cutting more than four seconds off the previously record held by the standard Rimac Nevera.
It now holds verified records in 24 key categories, including acceleration, braking, and sustained speed.
Trial results independently validated
Supercarblondie.com states that these results were independently validated by Dewesoft, a Slovenian company that specializes in advanced data acquisition systems, during the final stage of testing.
Another leading motoring portal, Hypebeast.com, has reported that only 40 units of the Nevera R will be built, and they will be priced from a whopping €2.3m EUR ($2,689,335 AUD)!

Dynamic debut at UK motor show
Fresh from being confirmed as the world’s fastest accelerating production car, the Nevera R made its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last weekend
The Goodwood Festival of Speed is held near the town of Chichester, in West Sussex, England. It transforms the Goodwood House estate into a four-day motorsport celebration every year in early July.
According to a press release by the Rimac Newsroom, the Nevera R occupied a dedicated Rimac area within the Festivals’ Supercar Paddock, allowing many members of the public their first look at the new visual identity, which is focused on ‘clean surfaces and perfect proportions’.

“The Goodwood Festival of Speed always seems to be somewhere we come to celebrate our milestones,” he said in his company’s press release.
“We brought the Concept One to the hill right back in 2017, broke the EV production car hill record with the Nevera, and marked our 15th anniversary with the debut of the 15th Anniversary Edition in 2024.
“Even amongst the most amazing collection of historic cars and the latest modern hypercars of Goodwood, there’s something special about knowing we’ve got the fastest accelerating production car there – just the latest milestone in the Rimac journey,” concluded Mate Rimac, the Founder and President of the Rimac Group.
