With 200+ people in attendance on 2nd August at Croatian House Gwelup, a mix of Croatians and Italians danced the night away to Croatian music and English tunes for the mladi, with an awesome DJ who got everyone on the dance floor!
An absolute cracker of a night was had by all who attended the Annual Gala Dinner. The atmosphere was electric and everyone turned it up – posted the hosts Gwelup Croatia SC on their Facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/GwelupCSC
Pre-drink shots were served at the door, including red wine, white wine, champagne, ‘Kruškovac’, ‘Medica’, and ‘Cherry Brandy’ shots on arrival, as well as the new ‘Bajadera’ chocolate liqueur, which I must say is delicious, especially on ice!
‘Dalmacijo, pismu tebi pivam ja…’
The main song that was played on repeat during the night, which is also played on game day every time Gwelup Croatia scores a goal, is “Dalmacijo”!
Hajduk flags and scarves were visible on the packed dance floor. Everyone danced to the kolo!
We had City of Stirling councillors in attendance, as well as the head of our sister club Western Knights, Dean Zlendic and Ned Cecic, plus the DPH Perth committee table as well!
Len has been recognised for his contribution for coaching for many number of years not only in juniors but now in seniors
The buffet dinner was enjoyed by all. Many thanks to the kitchen&bar staff and Gwelup’s ‘head chef/Sarma Queen’, Nada Tomas.
