Dandy City Hajduk proudly hosted its inaugural Bila Noć (White Night) celebration in grand style—an evening that marked the start of a new tradition for the club and its loyal community.
Held on Saturday 28 June 2025 at HKC Braeside, the event drew a vibrant crowd of approximately 350 people. It showcased the strength, energy, and unity of the Hajduk family, as supporters, players, families, and guests came together for a memorable night filled with joy, entertainment, and generosity.
Welcoming words and warm energy
Right from the start, the atmosphere was electric. The ever-energetic Tony Dorotić took charge as Master of Ceremonies, bringing a dynamic energy to the evening. Club President Bero Jurešić followed with a heartfelt welcome speech, setting a celebratory tone that carried through the night.
Entertainment and dining to remember
Music flowed all evening thanks to Major Minor, who kept the dance floor buzzing with rhythm and spirit. Their performance gave guests every reason to dance and enjoy themselves late into the night.
Meanwhile, the kitchen was in full swing. Led by Marija Haničar, the catering team served up delicious, home-style meals. Everyone appreciated the familiar flavours, which added warmth and authenticity to the event. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food—just like mum used to make.
In addition, decorations, a buzzing photo booth, and smooth service all played their part. Impressively, service throughout the evening was handled by the club’s junior players and their siblings, who stepped up to help out and did so with pride.

Special guests and community connections
The night wasn’t just about food and music—it was also about connection. Several key guests joined in the festivities, including major club sponsors Kata and Ivan Filipović from the I&D Group. Their continued support means a great deal to the club.
Moreover, the presence of Melbourne Knights President Tony Topčić and St Albans Dinamo President Ilija Dragičević added weight to the occasion. Their attendance highlighted the mutual respect and camaraderie across the Croatian-Australian football community.
Newly signed player Doni Grdić, who recently arrived from Šibenik, also made his first appearance at a club event. Supporters had the chance to meet him informally, and the club will introduce him officially on social media soon.
Raffle, generosity, and good cheer
One of the biggest highlights came during the raffle. Micky Colina from Major Minor took out the $5,000 grand prize—only to wow the crowd by donating $2,000 of it straight back to the club. His generosity truly captured the spirit of the night.
Runner-up Allen Markus also demonstrated great community spirit by donating $500 of his $3,000 prize back to the club. Moments like these showed that Bila Noć wasn’t just about fun—it was about giving back.
As expected, the party didn’t stop early. Die-hard Hajduk members and friends filled the dance floor and the room with joy until the early morning hours.
A memorable success and bright beginnings
Without a doubt, this first official Bila Noć was a resounding success. It exceeded expectations and set the tone for future celebrations. The combination of vibrant music, warm community spirit, and acts of generosity created a night to remember.
Thanks to everyone who helped make the evening so special. From here on, Bila Noć will be a cherished tradition on Dandy City Hajduk’s annual calendar.
