The Concord Community Club’s “Caring Hearts” fundraiser success

Australian Croatian Children’s Fund

On Sunday 13 July 2025 a joint successful charity event “Caring Hearts” by The Concord Croatian Club in Sydney and the Australian Croatian Children’s Fund was held in aid of the Children’s Cancer Institute.

Located in Randwick NSW, the Children’s Cancer Institute services with its personally tailored treatment plans for children diagnosed with cancer across Australia, as well as being one of the leading institutes in Australia that strives to see Australia’s future without childhood cancer through its advanced research in cancer treatments and medication.

The Croatian Folkloric Ensemble Sydney presented thrilling Croatian folklore song and dance that captured the hearts of all, young and old. Thank you to all who have attended as well as to those who have donated funds online via the website https://www.ccia.org.au/fundraisers/AustralianCroationChildrensFund 

Donations are Tax Deductible and this link is open until 10 August 2025. Raffle tickets are still on sale at The Concord Club in Sydney until 3rd August 2025 when the Raffle with rich prizes will be drawn during the Oluja Victory Day celebrations at the Concord Club. Raffle Prizes include Adam Gilchrist (Former Australian Cricket Team Captain) Cricket Jersey and valuable international prize-winning Inskin cosmetics packs.

On the day and for these charitable purposes there will be an Auction of Charles Billich print of his latest artistic portrayal of singer Marko Perkovic Thompson kindly donated for this charitable event by Charles and Christa Billich.
