Australia is set to be flooded by several top quality Croatian music acts over the coming months.

Popular rocker Tiho Orlić, who first made a name collaborating with Marko Perković Thompson and performing with the Croatian megastar on his previous tours Down Under, is particularly looking forward to returning to Australia.

Orlić has had a lengthy music career as a musician, vocalist as well as a music producer, will be bringing his music Croatian venues in Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.

The former Thompson band’s lead guitarist, Orlić is best known for songs such as ‘Daleko je’, ‘Stari se’, ‘Neraskidivo’ and ‘Najbolje kad je najteze’.

Kicking off his Australian tour in the nation’s capital on the 24th of April at the Croatian O’Connor Club, the tour will move to Sydney’s Croatian Bosna Club the next day, followed by a Saturday night gig on the 26th of April at the Croatian Club in Adelaide.

A week later the tour will wind up in Western Australia at the WA Croatian Community Centre in Fremantle on Saturday 3rd of May.

Adult tickets prices vary from $65 to $85, and can be purchased through the Try Booking online platform.

A CONCERT spectacular tribute to the immortal music of the late great Oliver Dragojević, meanwhile, will bring together some of Split’s most well known and popular artists together on Australian shores.

Known as the ‘Tragom Olivera’ (On Oliver’s Trail) Tour, Oliver’s fellow performers and good friends will pay tribute to the Dalmatian musician who dies in 2018 and left behind a rich musical treasure of songs spanning more than five decades.

Dragojević’s beloved band Dupini will accompany illustrious Split singers Petar Dragojević, Tedi Spalato, Goran Karan and Zorica Kondža on the tour.

Face to Face Touring is the promoter behind the spectacular concert tour, which will be held at first class music venues in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.

The Melbourne concert, to be staged at the iconic Palais Theatre on the 25th of May, will kick off the Australian tour, before moving on to Sydney’s State Theatre four days later.

The Australian concert spectacular will conclude on the 1st of June at the Regal Theatre in Perth.

“We want to preserve forever the beautiful musical heritage that Oliver left,” stated an official media release from the tour promoters.

“Although Oliver’s voice is truly unique and no one can replace him, we are extremely honoured to present ‘Tragom Olivera’ to his Australian fans.”

Ticket prices range from $109.90-$189.90 and can be booked via Ticketmaster.
