Hard Work, High Hopes: Committee Preps for Biggest Tournament Yet

Record-Breaking Turnout Expected for 51st Croatian Soccer Tournament on the Gold Coast

The countdown is on for one of the biggest cultural and sporting events on the Australian-Croatian calendar—the 51st Croatian Soccer Tournament, set to take over the Gold Coast this September.

Organisers are anticipating a record-breaking turnout, with teams and supporters from across the country set to descend on the sunshine state.

To accommodate the incredible interest, the tournament committee has secured up to 12 football fields, including four lit fields for night matches. With three grounds available at the Croatian Sports Centre and a fourth just across the road at KDV Academy, players and fans alike will be able to soak up the action from morning to night in the tournament’s central hub.

The hard-working committee is already buzzing with activity, putting the finishing touches on everything from logistics to merchandise. This year’s event will feature a fresh range of high-quality, customised items designed to celebrate the spirit of the tournament and elevate the atmosphere both on and off the pitch.

“We’re pouring heart and soul into this year’s theming and merchandise,” the committee shared via the tournament’s official Facebook page. “It’s all about capturing the energy, the pride, and the unity that our logo represents—something that runs deep in every one of us.” https://cst2025.myshopify.com/

With so much excitement building, organisers are already joking that the post-tournament blues will hit harder than ever. But one thing’s for sure: this year’s Gold Coast edition is shaping up to be a tournament to remember.

“We’ll have events going from the night before the tournament right through to the closing party on Sunday. Plenty for players and non-players of all ages, family friendly… – the organizers announced, and we will keep you regularly updated with more information about the events related to the 51st football tournament in Gold Coast this year.”
