Location of the new conference: The 11th G2.11 Meeting Business Conference, will be held in Novska!
In agreement with the leaders of this Slavonian town, the conference dates have also been set: October 17 and 18.
We present to you this year’s slogan — a message directed primarily at the youth, children, and grandchildren of Croatian emigrants around the world.
LIFE IS A GAME, CROATIA IS YOUR PLAYGROUND!
- We chose the city of Novska because of its strong focus on youth through numerous projects. One of the largest and most unique is the establishment of the Gaming Industry Center-unlike anything else in Europe. Perhaps you didn’t know, but the gaming industry is one of the strongest and fastest-growing industries in the world. Its revenues surpass the film and music industries combined! It is estimated that the global video game market in 2024 generated around $190 billion USD. If you include software, hardware, and subscriptions, the figure jumps to an incredible $240 billion. Reportedly, there are about 3.27 billion gamers worldwide, most of whom play games on their mobile phones.
In short, the gaming industry is a global economic powerhouse. Its revenues grow year after year, with a rising number of users and constant innovation. Novska and Croatia want to be-and will be-a part of this new economic phenomenon.
That’s why we invite all of you to share the story of MEETING G2.11 with the youth in your communities. Encourage your children and grandchildren, and your friends’ children, to join you in Novska on October 17th and 18th this year. At MEETING G2.11, young people will discover incredible business and life opportunities. They will meet young and successful Croatians from prosperous business sectors. Additionally, they will get information about study options, learning opportunities, and possible relocation or return to the homeland of their ancestors.
Of course, the MEETING G2.11 program won’t focus solely on gaming. We will discuss new and emerging technologies-artificial intelligence, drones, robotics, Croatian satellites, and other space projects.
Together with all of you in Novska, we want to start a conversation about Croatia in the 22nd century. This is for a Croatia with 10 million wealthy, healthy, and satisfied citizens!
So, let us repeat: Life is a game, and Croatia is your playground! Come to Novska and play with all of us! –
CROATIAN IS OUR MOTHER TONGUE, ENGLISH IS OUR SECOND LANGUAGE

- If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a chart is worth at least five hundred. According to the latest research based on real test results from over 2 million people worldwide, Croatia may not be first, second, or third in the world as we are in many sports. However, we are close to the very top!
When it comes to English language proficiency, Croatia ranks 5th globally. The Dutch are first, followed by Norwegians, Singaporeans, and Swedes. Croatia holds fifth place. Behind us are Portugal, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Germany, and others…
This is excellent news for all our emigrants, especially for those returning or wishing to return from Australia, the USA, Canada, and New Zealand. In those places, English is the primary language. In Croatia, communication in English is truly no longer a problem. This is not only because of tourism but also due to a strong educational system. Additionally, we don’t dub foreign films on TV or in cinemas, but use subtitles, allowing us to hear the original speakers.
Welcome to Croatia, welcome to your homeland!-

A GRAND CELEBRATION BY OUR FRIENDS FROM CANADA

- Our partners from the ONE CROATIA initiative, the hardworking team from the Canadian-Croatian Chamber of Commerce, held their major business event in Toronto two weeks ago. Their 21st Annual Business Excellence Awards Gala gathered a large Croatian community in Canada. The event celebrated excellence, innovation, business leadership, remarkable achievements, and a strong sense of unity and patriotism. Alongside music, entertainment, and awards, a significant part of the program was an interview conducted by renowned Croatian TV producer Pete Radovich. He is a multiple Emmy Award winner. In the interview, Iva Olivari, the first lady of Croatian football, spoke. She has been the team manager of the Croatian national football team for many years.
As part of the ceremony, in addition to the business excellence awards, scholarships were awarded to five outstanding young Croatian students in Canada-each receiving $2,000.
Our sincere congratulations to our friends, our brothers and sisters in Canada! –
