Thompson stuns Zagreb in historic live concert

Marko Perković Thompson took to the stage with explosive energy, igniting the Zagreb Hippodrome in front of a 500,000-strong crowd.

Explosive start to an unforgettable night

It’s finally here! Thompson launched into his highly anticipated concert in Zagreb with incredible force. Taking the stage at exactly 9:00pm local time, the legendary singer electrified the Hippodrome Arena within seconds of appearing.

Flares burst through the air almost immediately, followed by an awe-inspiring pyrotechnic display that set the tone for the night. The crowd—nearly half a million strong—erupted with cheers, waving flags and singing along from the first note.

Patriotic anthem followed by heartfelt address

Following his second song, Ravnoteža “Kad zapjevam partija mi sudi,” Thompson addressed the crowd with a passionate speech. He thanked the audience for their presence and loyalty, especially those who travelled from around the world to attend.

In his message he added, “”From here we can send a message to Europe to return to its roots – tradition, its Christian roots – because only then can it be strong again!”, which was met with resounding applause.

A celebration of identity and faith

More than a concert, the evening stands as a bold celebration of tradition, faith, and national pride. With Christian messages woven into his set, Thompson rallied the crowd around shared values and a deep love of homeland.

As the night continues, more moments are expected to capture the spirit of this historic event. Stay tuned for more live images, reactions, and highlights from an unforgettable performance at the Zagreb Hippodrome.
