Thompson concert sound check rocks Zagreb ahead of record-breaking show
Excitement is already building in Zagreb as fans gather for Thompson’s sound check ahead of his historic 5 July concert — set to be the largest ticketed performance in history.
Massive crowds arrive early for Thompson’s 5 July performance
The Hippodrome in Zagreb is buzzing as devoted fans sing and cheer while Thompson performs a pre-show sound check. With an estimated 400,000 to 500,000 attendees expected, this is shaping up to be a landmark event not only for Croatian music but also on a global scale.
To manage the influx, the city has enacted strict traffic measures. From Friday, Zagreb has been effectively placed in lockdown, with only buses and official transport vehicles allowed near the venue. Attendees are urged to walk to the site where possible.
